For several decades now a first-call drummer for many distinguished bandleaders, including the late Jack Bruce, tonight Tim Franks stretches out with his own band featuring fusion guitar legend Gary Boyle, master saxophonist Tim France (yes – saw you do a double-take on the name!) and superb bassist Dave Turner, covering a repertoire reflecting his love of groove-driven jazz and respect for the masters of the art – especially drummers!
